The focus of our menu is the kind of Italian food found on the east coast of the United States -- New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. We call it “Southern Italian-American Soul Food.” We make nearly everything from scratch, and use the finest ingredients possible, including free-range, naturally-fed veal, true Parmigiana Reggiano cheese and extra virgin olive oil. We use only San Marzano tomatoes from Italy in our sauces, make our mozzarella every morning, roll our own manicotti in homemade crepes, fill our raviolis by hand, and even fry up our own cannoli shells for dessert. Our extensive menu includes over twenty vegetarian dishes (ten of them vegan!), including an amazing vegetarian Minestrone, Eggplant Parmigiana, and lots of pasta options. And for those watching their carbohydrates we have a great Steak Pizzaiola and a lasagna dish called ‘Losta the Pasta Lasagna’ – made with eggplant instead of lasagna sheets. italian, portland, best italian, italian restaurant, homemade, home made, great, italian, Best Italian restaurant, Southern Italian soul food, Great Italian food, Red sauce, Chicken parmesan, Homemade, Homemade ravioli, Lasagna, Fettucini alfredo, Carbonara, Marsala, Veal, Home made mozzarella, mozzarella, Thin-crust pizza, thin, crust, pizza, Meatball, dessert, Tiramisu, Panna cotta, Cannoli, Cheesecake, Italian, Sicily, Sicilian, Tomato sauce, Pomodoro sauce, Garlic, Garlic bread
